The total cost to get your Melt Mobile business up and running is between $141,300 and $231,195.
How long has Melt Mobile been in business?
We launched our first truck in 2012. After five years of perfecting the model and preparing for replication, we are now offering franchises in 2017.
How much will I need in order to get funding?
We ask that candidates have around $100,000 in liquid capital, and $250,000 net worth. This will allow us to help you secure funding under the right conditions.
Are all territories still availble?
Yes! Having just launched the franchise opportunity in 2017, we are wide open! But based upon the initial interest thus far, we don’t think this will last long.
Do you offer multiple unit agreements?
Yes, currently we are offering a single unit franchise agreement for $45,000. We then offer 3 units (for $99,000) and five units (for $150,000) to select candidates.
How does territory work?
The Franchise Agreement for your Melt Mobile Franchise grants you a protected territory for catering services based on the geographic area, the number of qualified event locations, and populations properties within that area, and other relevant demographic characteristics. The size of your Territory is based on the population of your market, area demographics, and estimated market demand for catering services.
Do I need prior food experience?
No, you don’t necessarily need food service experience, although it is looked upon favorably in the selection process. A prospective franchisee must be willing to work hard, have strong business management skills, a positive and fun-loving attitude, be committed to excellent customer service, be a team player, and have the drive to succeed and control their own financial future.
How many employees will I need?
Initially, you will need to start with 2-3 employees. As you grow into additional volume and additional trucks, you will need to hire accordingly.
When will my franchise be awarded?
We have an “Education Process”, that allows us to provide you with all the information on the franchise opportunity, as well as learn all about you to see if you would be a good fit for our franchise family. This process has multiple stages and takes anywhere from 3 – 8 weeks.
